FERRUM, VA. – The Chowan University men's soccer team earned a 1-0 victory over Ferrum College on Wednesday evening. After a scoreless first half, Bradley Williams connected with Cameron Letterlough in the opening minutes of the second half to put the Hawks on the board.
With the win, Chowan improves to 9-3-3 overall and 7-2-2 in Conference Carolinas, while Ferrum falls to 4-7-3 overall and 2-7-2 in the league.

In the opening half, the Hawks recorded three shots, including one on goal, while the Panthers tallied two shots and two on target. Goalkeeper Lucas Kibrya made two saves during the first half, keeping the match scoreless at the break.
Early in the second half, Bradley Williams found Cameron Letterlough open in the box, delivering a spot-on pass that Letterlough headed into the net at the 46:48 mark to give the Hawks a 1-0 lead. Bradley Binns added another shot later in the half, while Kibrya made five consecutive saves down the stretch to preserve the clean sheet and secure the victory for Chowan.
