HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Chowan University men's soccer team stopped Conference Carolinas play for a non-conference road trip to Coker University on Tuesday evening. The Cobras were able to find the back of the net in the first half and the Hawks responded in the second to tie the game up and secure the draw. With the final result, Chowan moves to 7-3-3 on the season, while Coker sits at 1-3-6. Once again, freshman sensation, Cameron Letterlough, showed up in a big way for the Hawks, hitting the penalty kick in the 78th minute to equalize the match. Along side Letterlough, freshman keeper Lucas Kibrya is also having a standout freshman year in goal for the Hawks. Kibrya tallied five stops in frame in the match.

Coker University got on the board first in the match after Christian Johnson found the back of the net at the 6:58 mark of the match leading the game going into the half. Chowan's Cameron Letterlough was able to convert on a penalty kick in the 78th minute of the game to tie the match at 1-1.
The Hawks finished with a total of 14 shots and five shots on goal.
Lucas Kibrya played in goal for the Hawks for the full 90 minutes of the game registering five saves to stop Coker's six shots on goal.
