SALISBURY, N.C. – The Chowan Women's Soccer team faced a challenging second game of the weekend, falling 1-0 to #15 Embry-Riddle in a close match on Sunday afternoon at the Catawba College Invitational. With this result, Embry-Riddle improves to 1-1 for the season, while the Hawks drop to 0-2.

The Hawks defense held #15 Embry-Riddle from scoring in the first half of the match. The Eagles broke through in the 50th minute when Grace Foyer scored the only goal of the match.

Kris Peterson was busy in the net, making 5 saves throughout the match. Embry-Riddle's keeper had to make 2 saves to secure the shutout.
