RICHMOND, VA. – The Chowan Men's and Women's Cross Country teams traveled to the Panther XC Invitational on Friday afternoon. Leading the way for the Hawks were Kani Ellis on the men's team and Feidi Rodriguez on the women's team.

At the Panther XC Invitational, several of our women's runners achieved personal records in the 5K race. Feidi Rodriguez led the way in 18th with a time of 26:01.3, followed by Abbie Sutton in 24th at 27:26.2. Elizabeth Heller and Olivia Mock also set personal bests, finishing 25th and 26th with times of 27:38.0 and 27:52.1, respectively. The women's team placed 6th overall.Â
