MURFREESBORO, N.C. – Chowan University Volleyball wrapped up their first conference game of the 2024 season on Friday afternoon, finishing the day with a record of 2-6 overall and 0-1 in conference play. The win for Converse puts them at 1-0 in conference competition.

Alexa Wasil led the team with 9 kills. Jada Caruthers and Lorelai Hill contributed with 5 kills each, adding depth to the attack. Lorelai Hill had a strong performance on serve, recording 3 aces, while Sydney Ginaitt contributed with 2. Caruthers also tallied 3 blocks for the night. Ginaitt led in assists with 11, closely followed by Alexandra Liggeri with 10. Diana Rodriguez was key on defense with 8 digs.

UP NEXT 

The Hawks are set to host Belmont Abbey on Saturday, September 21st, at 2:00 PM. Following that, they will host Mount Olive on September 25th at 6:00 PM before traveling to face Southern Wesleyan on the road next Friday, September 27th.
