CU Women's Soccer Drops Road Match at Converse College to Open Conference Play

MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan women's soccer team moved to 1-3 overall and 0-1 in conference play after suffering a 3-0 loss to Converse College on Saturday afternoon. Converse improved to 2-2 overall and 1-0 in conference play.

The Hawks were shut out of goal in the match but managed to get off 8 shots, led by Natasha Bailey who tallied 4 in the match. Converse out shot the Hawks 14-8 in the match. 

Kris Peterson played 90 minutes in goal for the Hawks and got 2 stops.
