BROWNS SUMMIT, N.C. - On Sunday afternoon, the top-seeded Chowan University men's soccer team squared off against the third-seeded Francis Marion in the 2024 Conference Carolinas Championship. After a hard-fought 90 minutes, the Hawks were defeated 1-0, earning the title of Conference Carolinas runners-up.Â

The Patriots struck early, taking the lead in the 2nd minute when John Osadolor fired a left-footed shot from 17 yards out, placing the ball into the right side of the net.
