MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan women's soccer team secured a 3-1 victory over Barton on Saturday afternoon. This conference win elevates the Hawks to 4-6-1 overall and 2-4-1 in conference play, while the Bulldogs fall to 4-3-2 overall and 1-2-1 in conference play.

The scoring opened with Natasha Bailey netting a goal in the 16th minute, with an assist. The next goal came in the 32nd minute when Laura Hulme found the back of the net herself with Bailey assisting on the goal. Abigail Simon went and got a goal of her own in the 39th minute of the match, making the score 3-0 before halftime. The Bulldogs struck back with a goal in the 66th minute, but fell short as they were unable to comeback.
