MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan Men's Soccer team notched the victory in their home opener against divisional rival, Barton, in shutout fashion on Wednesday afternoon.

Abdoulie Sanneh led the Hawks with a goal and an assist in the victory. Leke Ademola and Brandon Hill notched their first goal of the season. Hill scored his first collegiate goal.
Bradley Binns, Sanneh, Charley Leech and Harri Lovett notched an assist.
Chase Jensen posted the shutout in goal with seven saves.
