BROWNS SUMMIT, N.C. – A goal in the 108' by Junior Smith gave the Chowan Men's Soccer team a 3-2 victory in the Conference Carolinas Semifinals against Barton on Friday afternoon.

Barton was granted a penalty kick early as Chase Jansen came out to punch a ball away before being carded and concede the shot.
The Hawks continued to push as Leke Ademola sent a ball from the right side of the box across the face of the goal and found Hlynur Fridriksson on the left post for the equalizer.
The Bulldogs responded with a goal as a shot from the top of the box found the left post and spun in.
Tylar Elliott's first collegiate goal came in the 87' off the assist by Junior Smith for another equalizer.
Sam Deacon followed suit as the first goal for Chowan as this time Junior Smith was able to slide in the attempt into the near post in the second period of extra time. Deacon had a chance in the first overtime period but was denied.
Chase Jansen posted six saves in the contest along with one defensive save by Charley Leech.
