FLORENCE, S.C. – The Chowan Women's Soccer team collected a huge draw against regionally-ranked Francis Marion on the road in Conference Carolinas divisional action on Tuesday afternoon.

Tessa Whitley would send in a ball from the back line allowing Lieke Van den Akker to chip the ball over to Natasha Bailey to post her sixth goal of the season.
Following a goal kick, Natasha Bailey would win the ball and head the ball up to Brielle Dumont, who slotted the ball to the right and found Karla Artolozaga for the equalizer.
Lieke Van den Akker, Natasha Bailey, Tessa Whitley, and Brielle Dumont posted an assist in the draw. Francis Marion sat atop the Conference Carolinas East Division and were ranked #10 in the Southeast Region.
