Hawks Drop First Home League Game Since 2019

MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The regionally-ranked Chowan Men's Soccer team suffered their first loss since September in a 2-0 defeat against Mount Olive in East Division Conference Carolinas action on Wednesday afternoon.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE

It was the first loss at home in Conference Carolinas action since Oct. 5, 2019.  The Hawks were 18-0-3 during that stretch at home in regular season league play.

Chowan had a chance to equalize in the first half as the Hawks had a penalty saved.

Chowan returns home for the final regular season match of the season as the Hawks host Francis Marion on Saturday, October 28.  First touch is slated for 3pm with senior day festivities occurring prior to the match.
