Hawks Pick Up Huge Draw Against Regionally-Ranked NGU

MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan Women's Soccer team continued their unbeaten streak with a strong league draw against top-of-the-league and regionally-ranked North Greenville on a rainy Saturday at home.

Chowan improved to 1-0-3 in their last four matches with the draw against North Greenville.  NGU was ranked seventh in the United Soccer Coaches Regional poll.

Lieke Van den Akker and Regan Jackson teamed up for the second straight match for an equalizing goal.

Kirsten Petersen collected five saves in the draw.
