PETERSBURG, VA. –  The Chowan Men's and Women's Cross Country teams competed at the VSU XC Invite hosted by Virginia State on Thursday afternoon.

ON THE COURSE

Arina Karbolina paced the Hawks with a personal best time of 26:38.1 to finish 11th overall.  Elizabeth Stokes posted a time of 28:00.3 to finish 16th.

JaCinda Griffin checked in with a time of 36:43.8, while Cheyenne Ouelette (41:15.5) and Eryiana Dial (42:48.4) finished up the scoring.

Jarquez Parker paced the men with a time of 35:21.6 to finish 16th overall.  Ke'Shawn Taylor crossed the line with a time of 37:58.5 to finish 23rd.

Thomas Miles (49:09.9) and Khiyell Jenkins (49:22.6) rounded out the times for the Hawks.
