MURFREESBORO, N.C. - The Chowan Men's Tennis team dropped a Conference Carolinas match against Belmont Abbey on Saturday afternoon.

INSIDE THE RESULTS 

Doubles:

Francisco Salvatori and Santino Jose Sormani started off the day in the No. 1 doubles position. The duo couldn't overcome the deficit, and would fall 6-2. Dragan Omcikus and Timofey Tokmakov would lose in a close one 6-4. 

Singles:   Santino Jose Sormani picked up the lone win for the Hawks in a deciding third set. Sormani dropped the opening set before battling back to win in the decisive third (5-7, 6-4, 10-7).
