MURFREESBORO, N.C.-The Chowan Men's Tennis team fell short 4-3 to King in conference play on Monday afternoon.

In Doubles:
The Hawks fell short 7-6 (7-3) with 
Mariano Yeh and 
Edmond Aynedjian at the No.1 doubles match.
Doubles duo, 
Adi Kaliakperov and 
Louis Proulx recovered for the Blue and White as they picked up the No.2 doubles positon 7-5.
King claimed the third doubles by a default from Chowan.
In Singles:
At the No.1 singles match 
Edmond Aynedjian grabbed the 5-7, 6-1, 6-3 victory for Chowan before 
Adi Kaliakperov fell 3-6, 6-2, 3-6 to King at the second singles match.
At the No.3 singles, 
Mariano Yeh fought for the 6-2, 6-2 win for the Blue and White.
The Hawks claimed the No.4 singles match 6-2, 6-2 with 
Louis Proulx, before 
Rafael D'Atri was beaten 7-5, 6-3 by King at the fifth singles match.
The Tornado claimed the No.6 singles by a default from Chowan.
