MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan Women's Bowling team returns to action on Friday, March 8-10 to compete in the North-South CIAA Event III hosted by Fayetteville State.

HAWKS HIGHLIGHTS
The Hawks posted a 9,201 total pin count and 4-11 record at the CIAA Round Up in early February.
Baylee Laxton led the Hawks after posting a 151.30 average and placing 13th overall.
Kailah Herbin is second on the squad with a 125.50 average after recording a 188 team high against Johnson C. Smith in the second day of traditional matches.
Raven Finley-Flowers posted a 118.40 for the Blue and White.
CIAA Event III
Chowan is one of the ten programs that will compete at the CIAA Event III. The Hawks will match up against conference members: Bowie State, Fayetteville State, Elizabeth City State, Johnson C. Smith, Livingstone, Shaw, St. Augustine's, Virginia State, and Virginia Union.
The teams will participate in 15 matches during the three-day event. The first two days will consist of team traditional matches, while day three will be Baker Play.
Chowan will start their competition at 10am on Friday.
