ON THE COURTS
In Doubles:
The Hawks claimed the No.1 doubles 6-4 victory with
Cynthia Carrier and
Arina Karbolina before
Julieta Lecce and
Angelique Gouin slipped 6-4 at the No.2 doubles match.
The Crusaders took the third doubles win by default from Chowan.
In Singles:
With an early 1-0 lead into singles play,
Cynthia Carrier grabbed the victory at the No.1 singles match by defeating her opponent 6-1, 7-5.
Arina Karbolina followed with a 6-7(5-7), 6-4, 10-5 win at the No.2 singles position for the Blue and White.
Julieta Lecce dropped her first set 0-6. Lecce recovered in the second set 6-0, before falling short 4-6 to the Crusaders
Angelique Gouin fought for the No.4 singles win as she beat her opponent 8-6, 1-6, 6-2 for the Hawks, before
Claire Revelle slipped 6-1, 6-3 at the fifth singles match.
