FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The Chowan Bowling team went 2-10 on the weekend to take home fourth place of the Northern Division at the CIAA North/South Event III on Sunday afternoon.

As a team Chowan knocked down 9,567 total pins during the three day tournament and 3,270 in Baker Play.
Virginia Union handed the Hawks their first loss of the day 633-729 before Elizabeth City State edged Chowan in the second match 624-687.
The Hawks dropped to Bowie State 612-899 in the fourth match on Sunday before Virginia State grabbed the 723-882 victory in the final contest of the day.
