ELIZABETH CITY, N.C.-The Chowan Women's Bowling team wrapped up day two of the CIAA Round Up hosted by Elizabeth City State on Saturday afternoon.

INSIDE THE LANES
Baylee Laxton led the Hawks in the second day of traditional matches after posting a 147.8 average.
 
Kailah Herbin is second on the squad with a 132.2 after posting a 188 team high against Johnson C. Smith. Nia Foy posted a 109.6 for the Hawks
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
Chowan opened the second day with a 611-576 loss to Livingstone. Kailah Herbin posted a 131 in the match while Baylee Laxton followed with a 121 for the Hawks.
 
The Hawks secured their lone win of the day 667-549 over Johnson C. Smith in the next match. Kailah Herbin bowled a phenomenal 188 team high for the Blue and White. Baylee Laxton recorded a 169 in the match.
 
St. Aug's defeated Chowan in match eight with a score of 622-584 before falling to Fayetteville State 750-586. Baylee Laxton led the Hawks after carding a 167 while teammate Nia Foy posted a 125 for Chowan.
 
The Hawks dropped their final match of the day to Shaw 580-555 to post a 3-7 overall tournament record.
