ELIZABETH CITY, N.C.-The Chowan Women's Bowling team completed the final day of the CIAA Round Up hosted by Elizabeth City State on Sunday afternoon with Baker Matches.

ON THE SCORECARDS
The Hawks averaged a total pin count of 612.4 on the final day of the tournament.

Chowan dropped a tough match to Shaw in the first setting 784-571 before falling to southern division leader Fayetteville State by only 11 pins (701-690).

St. Aug's handed the Blue and White a 690-591 loss in the third match of the day, before the Golden Bulls of Johnson C. Smith beat Chowan 621-610.

The Hawks recovered in the final match of the day with a lone win over Livingstone 600-580 for a 1-4 record in Baker Play.

Chowan will hit the road again on March 8-10 when they travel to Fayetteville, N.C. for the CIAA Event III hosted by Fayetteville State.
