MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan Men's and Women's Soccer programs will wrap up the regular season with Senior Day against Emmanuel on Saturday.
Senior day festivities will begin prior to each contest.

Women's Soccer
HAWKS HIGHLIGHTS
Chowan improved to 4-6-3 on the season and 4-3-3 in league play. The Hawks are 4-0-1 in their last five matches. CU is ranked sixth in the league standings.
Carolina Lucci leads the Hawks with six goals and two assists this season. Lillian DeLucca has scored three times. Stephanie Quintanilla has found the back of the net twice.
Sierra Gonzalez, Shannon Park, Emily Trueman, and Sabrina Henderson have scored one goal each this season. Gonzalez has two assists as well.
Lynzie Hulle, Conference Carolinas Player of the Week, picked up two shutouts last week. Hulle has 46 saves on the year and is limiting opposing league teams to 0.91 goals allowed.
CAGING THE LIONS
Emmanuel is 8-7-0 on the season and 5-5 in league play. The Lions have lost their last three matches and are 1-4-0 in their last five. Emmanuel is seventh in the league standings.
Hannah Logue leads the team with nine goals this season including five game winners. Lochlain Corliss and Lindsay Lee have tallied four goals each.
Hannah Welch has 56 saves on the year and a 1.27 goals allowed average.
PLAYOFF PICTURE
Chowan sits in the sixth slot and hosts Emmanuel in the seventh. With a win, the Hawks would need a loss by North Greenville to move up to fifth. With a loss the Hawks would fall to seventh and face the second seed in the quarterfinals next Saturday.
Men's Soccer
HAWKS HIGHLIGHTS
Chowan, ranked 9th in the region, moved to 9-4-1 on the season and sit with a 7-1-1 mark in league play. The Hawks are assured a share of the league title, no matter the result on Saturday.
Harrison Ardron paces the team with 11 goals and has added two assists. Toby Sims has six goals and two assists on the year.
Trevin Myers leads the Conference Carolinas with seven assists to go with his two goals. Sam Hall has found the back of the net four times. Mitchell Levi Lewis and Joury den Boogert have five assists each this season.
Ross Miller is 9-3-1 on the season with five shutouts and a 1.05 goals allowed average.
LEASHING THE LIONS
Emmanuel started off the season with a 6-1-1 record and was regionally ranked. Since then, the Lions have gone 2-4-0 to compile an 8-5-1 overall record. Emmanuel is 4-3-1 in league action this season.
Shane Cronin and Jeremy Gwaltney lead the team with four goals each. Channing Park and Harrison Wright have scored three times.
Guiliano Palma is allowing 1.10 goals per match with 94 saves.
PLAYOFF BREAKDOWN
Chowan is assured a share of the regular season championship. The Hawks sit at the top of the league standings, with a win or draw the Hawks will be the outright champion, with a loss the Hawks will have to share the title and and potentially fall to the No. 2 seed depending on the result from Belmont Abbey against Lees-McRae.
Emmanuel is tied for the fifth seed and could potentially move into the top four with a win. With a loss the Lions could fall out of the tournament.
