HAWKS HIGHLIGHTS
Chowan dropped to 4-3-0 on the season after suffering their first loss in league play against Belmont Abbey over the weekend.
Harrison Ardron leads the team and league with eight goals on the season after scoring six all of last season. Toby Sims has three goals on the season after scoring twice against Barton. Joury den Boogert leads the team and league with five assists this season.
Ross Miller is 4-2-0 on the season with two shutouts and a 1.32 goals allowed average.
SETTING THE BEAR TRAP
Lenoir-Rhyne is 5-4-1 on the season with two quality wins under their belt beating #9 Barry, defending national champion, and #2 Young Harris. The Bears are coming off a shutout loss on the road to Lincoln Memorial.
Victor Cascon and Goncalo Garcia lead the team with four goals each. Garcia has done his damage in two of the last three matches scoring twice against Carson-Newman.
Alexander Langer has three shutouts this season allowing 1.45 goals per contest.
