MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan Men's and Women's Soccer teams host rival Barton in a Conference Carolinas match up on Wednesday.
The men's team will appear in front of the home crowd for the first time this season.

Women's Soccer
HAWKS HIGHLIGHTS
Chowan enters the contest with a 0-4-2 overall record and a 0-1-2 mark in Conference Carolinas play. The Hawks have yet to find that elusive first win of the season despite playing tough competition. CU is coming off a 2-2 draw against Erskine.
Carolina Lucci leads the Hawks with two goals and an assist on the season. Sierra Gonzalez has scored a goal and tallied an assist. Emily Trueman, Stephanie Quintanilla and Shannon Park of tallied a goal this season.
Lynzie Hulle has been thrust into duty in goal this season stopping 23 shots and allowing 2.19 goals per contest.
LEASHING THE BULLDOGS
Barton is rolling right now with a 5-2-1 overall record and a 3-1-0 mark in league play. The Bulldogs have a three match win streak going and comes off a monumental win over league favorite, Limestone, over the weekend.
The Bulldogs are tied for second in the Conference Carolinas standings.
Syaani Harris leads the Bulldogs with five goals on the season. Barton spreads the attack as six players have scored two goals.
Rachel Cox leads the team in goal allowing 1.19 goals per game in six appearances.
Men's Soccer
HAWKS HIGHLIGHTS
Chowan improved to 3-2-0 on the season and remains unbeaten in league play with a 2-0-0 record. The Hawks are coming off a dominating performance against Erskine, 4-1.
Harrison Ardron, Conference Carolinas Player of the Week, leads the team and league with six goals. Sam Hall has notched two goals this season. Joury den Boogert and Harri Lovett have assisted on two goals each.
Ross Miller is 3-1-0 on the season with two shutouts and a 0.74 goals allowed average.
CAGING THE BULLDOGS
Barton is 6-1-1 on the season and 2-1-0 in league play. The Bulldogs are unbeaten in their last five matches going 4-0-1 since their only loss of the season to Belmont Abbey. Barton is coming off a 2-1 overtime victory against Limestone.
David Breitenbach leads the Bulldog attack with five goals. Ruben Mancio has two goals and three assists.
Francisco Noguera is 3-0-0 on the season with two shutouts in split time with Jacob Randolph. Noguera has not played since Sept. 24. The duo is allowing 1.09 goals per contest.
