RALEIGH, N.C.-The Chowan Women's Bowling team completed team matches with a 1-7 record at the North/South CIAA Event II hosted by Saint Aug's on Saturday afternoon.

Leading the Hawks with a 135.7 is
Raven Finley-Flowers who posted a 181 team high in the final match of the day.
Baylee Laxton is second on the squad with a 132.7 while
Kailah Herbin recorded a 120.6 for the Blue and White.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Chowan fell 604-792 to Bowie State in the first match of the day.
Baylee Laxton paced the Hawks with a team high of 152.
Raven Finley-Flowers and
Jasmine Basnight recorded a 136 and 111 respectively. Â
The Hawks were unable to beat the Vikings of Elizabeth City State 500-569 before falling to Virginia Union 575-638 in the third match of the day.
Virginia State took home the victory over the Blue and White with a 662-765 match win.
Raven Finley-Flowers posted a team high of 181 for the Hawks.
