BRISTOL, Tenn.- The Chowan Men's Tennis team clinched a 5-4 victory over King on Sunday afternoon in conference play.

ON THE COURTS
In Doubles:

• Ghassan Alansi and Mariano Yeh secured the No.1 doubles match 8-6 for the Hawks.
• Rafael Goncalves and Mateusz Izycki grabbed the 8-0 win at the No.2 doubles, before Adi Kaliakperov and Louis Proulx fell short at the third doubles match 8-6. 

In Singles:

• With the 2-1 lead into singles play, Ghassan Alansi picked up the 6-3, 6-4 win at the No.1 singles. 
• King recovered at the No.2 singles over Adi Kaliakperov 5-7, 6-0, 6-4. 
• Mateusz Izycki dropped the third singles match 6-2, 6-2 before Louis Proulx secured the No.4 singles match 6-2, 6-0 for the Blue and White. 
• Rafael Goncalves defeated his opponent 6-4, 6-1 for the Hawks at the No.5 singles. 
• Mariano Yeh fell short in a tough battle at the No.6 singles match 0-6, 6-0, 10-4.
