BANNER ELK, N.C.- Chowan's Women's Tennis team advanced to 14-3 on the season and 8-0 in conference play after a 9-0 victory over Lees McRae Saturday afternoon.

ON THE COURTS
In Doubles:
The Hawks took a early 3-0 lead after gabbing all three doubles matches over the Bobcats.

In Singles:

• Polina Novachuk defeated her opponent 6-3, 6-2 at the No.1 singles before Cynthia Carrier secured the 6-0, 6-3 victory at the No.2 singles match for the Hawks.
• At the No.3 and No.4 singles, Hanna Tarlouskaya and Victoria Smolchenkova won 8-2 respectively. 
• Lenka Styblova picked up the fifth singles match 8-1 for the Blue and White. 
• Securing the match win, Angelique Gouin beat her competitior 8-0 at the No.6 singles position.
