MURFREESBORO, N.C.- Chowan's Men's Tennis team concluded their regular season contest with a 9-0 win over North Greenville on Saturday Afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
In Doubles:

• The Hawks grabbed the No.1 and No.2 doubles 8-2 by Ghassan Alansi/Mariano Yeh and Rafael Goncalves/Mateusz Izycki.
• At the No.3 doubles match , Adi Kaliakperov and Louis Proulx picked up the 8-3 win for Chowan.

In Singles:

• With a strong 3-0 lead, Ghassan Alansi won 6-1, 6-4 at the No.1 singles match.
• Adi Kaliakperov grabbed the No.2 singles win 6-0, 6-0 for the Hawks.
• Senior, Mateusz Izycki fought for the 2-6, 6-3 (10-1) victory at the third singles position.
• Louis Proulx won 3-6 1-2 at the No.4 singles match by a retirement from the Crusaders.
• Rafael Goncalves secured the fifth singles 6-1, 6-2 before Mariano Yeh beat his opponent 6-1, 6-1 for the Blue and White.

The Hawks will travel to Sumter, S.C. on April 20-22 for the Conference Carolinas Men's Tennis Championship hosted Erskine College.
