BELMONT, N.C.– The Chowan Men's tennis team secured a 5-4 win over defending Conference Carolinas Season Champions, Belmont Abbey on Tuesday afternoon.

In Singles:
- Ghassan Alansi secured the No.1 singles 6-2, 6-4 win for Chowan while, Adi picked up the No.2 singles match 6-0, 1-6 in a 6-1 tiebreaker.
- Mateusz Izycki fell short in a tough 7-6 (7-5), 7-6 (12-10) battle at the No.3 singles position.
- Louis Proulx dropped the fourth singles 6-4, 6-4 while teammate, Rafael Goncalves slipped at the No.5 singles match 6-4, 7-6 (7-3).
- Mariano Yeh recovered for the Hawks at the sixth singles match for a 7-6 (7-5), 6-1 victory.
