ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. – The Chowan Bowling team went 4-8 on the weekend to take home fourth place of the Northern Division at the CIAA North/South Event III on Sunday afternoon.

As a team Chowan knocked down 10,380 total pins during the three day tournament and 3,568 in Baker Play.
Bowie State handed the Hawks their first loss of the day 783-721 before Virginia State grabbed the third match 769-723 over the Blue and White.
At the fourth match, the Hawks were unable to secure the close battle to Virginia Union 824-820 just four pins under the Panthers.
Chowan recovered in the final match against Elizabeth City 617-591 for the win.
