ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. – The Chowan Bowling team continued play at the Rocky Mount Bowling Center where they hosted the 2018 CIAA North/South CIAA Event III on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Chowan opened the second day with a close 713-682 loss to Bowie State.
Leslie Maloney paced the Hawks with a score of 167.
The Hawks posted a team best in a monumental 810-729 victory over Virginia Union in match eight. Baylee Laxton carded another season best of 188 for the Blue and White.
Next, CU took on the Vikings of Elizabeth City in match nine. The Hawks were able to secure the 680-669 win with
Leslie Maloney and
Raven Finley-Flowers posting a 168 and 145 score respectively.
Virginia State defeated the Hawks in match ten with a score of 825-678.
Jasmine Miles carded a 144 for the Blue and White.
