RALEIGH, N.C. – The Chowan Bowling team notched a 3-2 record on the opening day of the CIAA Round Up hosted by St. Augustine's on Friday.

INSIDE THE LANES
Kailah Herbin led the Hawks with a 134 average with a team high 191 in the second match

Leslie Maloney posted a 129 for Chowan while Raven Finley-Flowers averaged 116.6.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Chowan opened the event with a 592-586 victory over Livingstone. Kailah Herbin led the Blue and White with a score of 138. 

Fayetteville State handed the Hawks their first loss of the tournament by a score of 866-661.

The Hawks recovered in the third match to St. Augustine's with a score of 571-544, before defeating Johnson C. Smith 572-472.

Shaw finished off the event with a win over Chowan 615-589.
