RALEIGH, N.C. – The Chowan Bowling team went 9-6 on the weekend to secure fifth place at the CIAA North/South Round Up hosted by St. Augustine's on Sunday with Baker match play.

INSIDE THE LANES
As a team Chowan knocked down 9,413 total pins during the three day tournament and 3, 219 in Baker Play.
Chowan picked up their first win in Baker match 613-497 over Johnson C. Smith.
Leslie Maloney paced the Hawks with a match high of 171.
The Hawks defeated Shaw 639-633 in a close match with
Kailah Herbin carding a 145.
Keeping the momentum, Chowan secured match three 710-580 over St. Augustine's.
Raven Finley-Flowers bowled a personal record of 183 for the win.
Fayetteville State handed the Hawks their first loss in the day 772-642 but recovered in the final match with a 615-596 victory over Livingstone.

The Hawks will return to the lanes on March 9-11 as they host the CIAA Event III in Rocky Mount, N.C.
