LAUREL, Md. – The Chowan Bowling team wrapped up the CIAA Event I hosted by Bowie State on Sunday with Baker match play. The Hawks went 4-8 on the weekend playing all CIAA Northern Division opponents.

INSIDE THE LANES
Chowan as a team averaged 639.2 on the day for a total of 3,196 pins.
The Hawks dropped the first match 823-600 to Bowie State before falling short to Virginia Union 662-646.
Chowan picked up the 676-589 victory over Elizabeth City State in the third match and concluded the event with a one pin win over Virginia State (682-681).
Baylee Laxton placed top-15 overall for the Blue and White after posting a 162.00 bowling average from day one and two combined.
