HOW IT HAPPENED
Chowan opened the second day with a 760-657 loss to Virginia State.
Jasmine Basnight paced the Hawks in the match with a score of 150.
The team recovered in the third match for a phenomenal 700-478 win over Elizabeth City State.
Baylee Laxton and Raven Finely-Flowers posted a 169 and 168 score respectively for the victory.
The Hawks were unable to beat the panthers 682-629 in match four, before falling to Bowie State 734-614 in the final match of the day.
