HOW IT HAPPENED

First Half:

Chowan went on the attack early as two shots were blocked and an attempt by Trevin Myers hit the crossbar.

Midway through the half, Chowan was able to break through the Lions' back line as Harry Garstang slotted a ball from the left baseline in front of the goal to Harry Ardron for the wide open net and the 1-0 lead.

Trevin Myers and Denis Roule tallied a shot on goal to end the half.

Second Half:

Emmanuel was able to find the equalizer in the 68' as a shot by Blair Springhall as the shot bounced off the sliding defender and curled underneath the bar.

The momentum would shift back to the Hawks five minutes later.  Trevin Myers' shot would be blocked and given a corner kick.  On the ensuing corner kick, Mitchell Levi Lewis would send in the attempt and Myers would not miss this time finding the back of the net for the eventual game winning goal in the 74'.

Emmanuel looked for the equalizer once again in the 80' as Elliot Chadderton posted back-to-back saves including a diving save to thwart the attack.

Chowan would scratch across another goal to ice the contest as Denis Roule played up the right side of the pitch.  Roule slid the pass back to Mitchell Levi Lewis, who curled the attempt into the upper left corner for 3-1.
