th overall at the 2018 CIAA Championships at Green Hill Park on Thursday afternoon.

THE RESULTS
After calculating 70 points as a team Fayetteville State won the championship title for the women. St. Augustine's secured second place with 92 points, while the Bulldogs of Bowie State took third place.
With a phenomenal time of 19:27.2 Nelly Kandie won the field averaging a 6:15.3 minute mile.
The Hawks placed 10
th overall after posting 241 points.
Coach Dinkins stated "I am extremely proud of the team, we set individual goals during preseason to work towards for championships, the women came out and executed the plan to one All-Conference and the whole team set personal best"
Leading the Hawks was
Lela Knight with a 14
th overall finish, claiming a first ever All-Conference selection for the Blue and White. Knight finished with a time of 21:19.2 averaging a 6:51.3 minute mile.
Elizabeth Stokes finished second for the Hawks with a 48
th place finish. Stokes crossed the line at 24:11.7 while teammate
Deja King was close behind clocking a time of 25:03.4. King improved her career best by 1:46.
Keyera Wilkerson finished her last collegiate meet of her career with a time of 25:54.7.
Genesis Oliver and
Jaime Calcagno rounded out the field for Chowan.
