CU Bowling Completes Day Two of CIAA Event II

RICHMOND, VA. – The Chowan Bowling team dropped to 1-7 in the event following a 0-4 outing on day two of the CIAA Event II hosted by Virginia State.

INSIDE THE LANES
Jasmine Basnight leads the Hawks with an average of 134.7 posting a match high of 149 and 148 in match six and eight.
Kailah Herbin is second on the squad with a 134.2.  Raven Finley-Flowers and Leslie Maloney are close with averages of 127.9 and 123.2 respectively.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Chowan opened the second day with an 606-540 loss to Elizabeth City State. Jasmine Basnight paced the Hawks with a score of 148.

The Hawks would fall short once again to Bowie State in a close match 676-625. 

Virginia State  beat  the Hawks in match nine with a score of 743- 660 . Jasmine Miles  led the Hawks with a 146  in the match.

Chowan fell in the final match of the day 756-674 to Virginia Union..
