MIDLOTHIAN, Va. - The Chowan Women's Bowling team wrapped up the third and final day at the Virginia Union Invitational on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Hawks tallied a total pin count of 6,063 in the overall tournament. 
• Elizabeth City State picked up the first match of the day over Chowan 781- 706. Jasmine Miles posted a 130 in match one while Leslie Maloney recorded a 122 for the Blue and White. 
• Chowan fell 816-598 to Duquesne University in the second match. Kailah Herbin paced the Hawks with a 159 while Kiara Thomas bowled a 134 in game two. 
• The Hawks faced Elizabeth City State in the final round of the day but slipped 581-663. Leslie Maloney posted a team high of 131 in the match.

Chowan will travel to Fayetteville, N.C. to compete in the CIAA Event I on November 10th - 12th.
