FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The Chowan Bowling team fell to 0-8 on the weekend falling in four matches on day two of the CIAA Event I hosted by Fayetteville State.

INSIDE THE LANES
Jasmine Miles leads the Hawks with an average of 131.5 posting a match high 162 in match eight.
Leslie Maloney is second on the squad with a 119.8. Raven Finley-Flowers and Jasmine Basnight are close with averages of 117.75 and 117.6 respectively.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Chowan opened the second day with an 868-605 loss to Bowie State. Raven Finley-Flowers paced the Hawks with a score of 145.
The Hawks would fall short once again to Elizabeth City State as Raven Finley-Flowers topped her best with a 149.
CU posted an event high 658 in match eight during the bye with Jasmine Miles and Nia Foy recording 162 and 152 respectively.
Virginia Union bested the Hawks in match nine with a score of 704-600. Jasmine Basnight led the Hawks with a 147 in the match.
Chowan fell in the final match of the day 743-599 to Virginia State.
