SALEM, VA. – The Chowan Women's Cross Country Team finished 11th overall at the 2017 CIAA Championships at Green Hill Park on Thursday morning.

THE RESULTS
Freshman Lela Knight led the Hawks with a 17th overall finish, missing out on an All-Conference selection. Knight finished with a time of 21:57.5 to pace the Blue and White.
Elizabeth Stokes finished second for the Hawks with a 36th place finish. Stokes crossed the line at 23:50.0, just off her personal best time.
Chasity Henderson finished her last collegiate meet of her career with a time of 26:39.6.
Raven Finley-Flowers and Maressa Caceres rounded out the field for Chowan.
