GREENVILLE, SC- Terell Williamson scored twice in the second period, but it was not enough for the Chowan men's soccer team as the Hawks dropped a 3-2 decision to Bob Jones University on Saturday evening.  Chowan evens their record to 6-6-3 on the season while the Bruins improve to 10-5 overall.

Jared Simmons put the Bruins on the board in the 33^rd minute of play when he found the back of the net using AJ Redlinger's assist.  Just before time expired at the end of the first period, Redlinger headed the ball past Chowan's keeper Marco Lujan to push the Bruins ahead 2-0.  Simmons was credited with the assist on the play. 

Nine minutes into the second half, Williamson used an assist from Christian Funes to end the scoring drought for the Chowan Blue and White.  Trailing 2-1 with sixteen minutes left in the game, Williamson knotted the score when he found the back of the net again for the Hawks. 

In the 81^st minute, the Bruins secured the victory when Redlinger scored the game winner for Bob Jones using Matt Moore's assist. 

Bob Jones tallied 15 shots over the course of the game with five on goal while Chowan tallied 12 shots (three on frame).  Moore and Simmons notched three shots apiece while Garrett Martin and Redlinger added two shots each in the win for the Bruins.  Williamson paced Chowan with four shots in the setback. 

Lujan made two saves in goal for the Hawks in the setback while Gibble made one save for the Bruins.

The Hawks return to Murfreesboro on October 28^th as Chowan hosts Barton College.  The contest will serve as Senior Day for the Hawks.  Game time is slated for 3:00pm.
