MURFREESBORO - The Chowan University men's soccer season is far from over as the team and the athletic department will serve as hosts to the 2014 NCCAA South Region Men's Soccer Tournament November 19th-November 22nd. The Hawks nabbed the #4 seed in the seven-team tournament. Chowan will face off against #5 seeded Emmanuel College at 2:30pm on November 19th. All matches will be played at Hawks Field.
Palm Beach Atlantic University garnered the top seed in the tournament and will get a bye into the second round. Shorter University grabbed the #2 seed and will face off against #7 Bob Jones University on Wednesday at 11:45am. #3 Southern Wesleyan University will take on #6 Columbia International University in the first match of the tournament on Wednesday at 9:00am. Second round play will begin on Thursday, November 20th at 11:30am. Friday will serve as an off day for the teams vying for the championship. The NCCAA South Region Championship match will be played on Saturday, November 22nd at 1:00pm.

(Admission prices are good for one day no matter the number of matches played on that day)
*faculty, staff members who bring family members will also be charged a $1.00 admission rate for each of the family members OR family members that come with CU Faculty/Staff can bring a nonperishable food item for free admission as a part of the food drive conducted by the teams participating.
