MURFREESBORO – Mount Olive College recorded 17 shots on goal and scored five second period goals to defeat the Chowan University Hawks 7-1 on Tuesday.
Biez Neto scored his second goal of the season for the Hawks.
After scoring just twice in the first period, Mount Olive erupted in the second with five goals. Six different players scored for the Trojans.
Neto scored at the 60 minute mark off a penalty kick to close the Hawks deficit to 4-1. He recorded a team-high five shots for the game.
Adam Smith added two shots and
Joshua Gross had one.
Ethan Phelps saved 10 shots for Chowan.
Chowan will travel to West Palm Beach, Florida to take on Palm Beach Atlantic on Friday, October 21
st.
