COLUMBUS, GA - The women's soccer team dropped an 8-0 decision to the University of Tampa this afternoon at the Columbus State University Invitational this afternoon. The Hawks were out shot 38 to one to in the match and fall to 1-4 on the year. 

After playing a 1-0 Tampa halftime lead, the Hawks gave up seven second half scores to fall 8-0 in the match. The Hawks went 0-2 in the tournament. 

Chowan will have off this upcoming week and return to action on September 14th when they travel to Mount Olive College for a 7:00pm match.
