SALISBURY, NC - The men's soccer moved to 0-5 on the year after dropping a 7-0 decision at Catawba College this evening. The Hawks gave up three early scores to get behind 3-0 with 35:00 to play in the first period. Catawba added another score just before halftime and went on to the 7-0 win with three second half scores. 

Catawba edged the Hawks shot wise with 26 shots over Chowan's total seven shots in the match. Josh Cenci started in goal and gave up four scores and collected to two saves. Ariah Mousavizadegan came in goal in the second period for Chowan, getting eight stops and giving up three goals. 

The Hawks will travel to Lenoir-Rhyne on Saturday in another double header with the women's team. They will match up with the Bears in a 4:00pm duel.
