Bryan Hill picked up the loss on the mound after throwing the complete game, giving up 10 hits, six earned runs, and striking out four batters.

The Hawks scored five runs in the top of the 7th inning in a second comeback attempt in the nightcap but fell short in the 9-8 loss. St. Andrews scored a run in the bottom of the 7th to bust open an 8-8 tie and take the win. Chowan tallied nine hits while the Knights pounded out 15 hits in the game. Three pitchers saw time on the mound for the Hawks. John Morris started the game throwing 4.1 innings. Morris gave up three runs on eight hits before being relieved by Tyler King.
