Box Scores vs. Columbia Union

TAKOMA PARK, MD - Jaleel Nelson poured in a career high 33 points as the Hawks rolled to a 104-71 win over Columbia Union College this evening. The Hawks topped the 100 point mark for the first time this season to improve to 12-9 on the year.

The Hawks also garnered double digit performances from Lando Morrison and Charles Rhodes in the win. Morrison notched his first double-double of the season with 24 points and a game-high 17 rebounds. That total is the highest rebound total of any Hawk this season. Rhodes chipped in 16 points in the win. Jaleel Nelson was 14-18 from the floor while Morrison was 10-12 from the floor. Overall the Hawks hit 43 of 70 (61%) shots taken while also grabbing 43 rebounds to Columbia Union's 23 rebounds.

Chowan improves to 12-9 on the season while Columbia Union falls to 1-20 overall. The Hawks will tip it up again on Tuesday night as they host the Apprentice School.
