MURFREESBORO - Barton College handed the Hawks an 8-1 loss at home today behind the play of Lloyd O'Neill who knocked in five Bulldog goals. The Hawks fall to 1-12 after today's loss while Barton improves their overall record to 5-12. 

Chowan got off 12 shots in the match to Barton's 24 shots and scored five second half goals. O'Neill scored the first five goals of the game for his team. Chowan's Chinedu Iuwora scored an unassisted goal in the 76th minute to get the Hawks on the board. 

The Hawks will take off a week before hosting UNC-Pembroke in their final home match of the 2009 season.
