COLUMBIA, SC - The women's basketball team ended a two-game losing streak with a 70-35 win at Allen University this afternoon. Eleven different Hawks' scored in the win, their sixth win of the season.

The Hawks played their third road game in a row today and have one more on the road Monday at Fayetteville State University to wrap up their four game road stand. The Hawks rolled easily to the win at Allen. After taking an 11 point lead into halftime, the Hawks put up 33 second half points to take the 70-35 win.

Ransheda Jennings paced Chowan with 14 points while fellow freshman Maddie Cummings joined her in double figures with 10 points. Demicka McMahan finished the game with eight points while newcomer Patricia Price added seven points.

After Monday's road game at Fayetteville State, the Hawks will host Allen University at the Helms Center on Wednesday. Tip off for the home game is set for 5:00pm.
